I explained that we had to have a 2 bed / 2 bath in the vicinity of South Point and that as retired people on a fixed income the $480 we paid for this unit was the top end of our budget. I also explained that at this late date a suitable replacement would be just about impossible unless TripAdvisor intended to pay the difference in rental costs for us. I received no response to that suggestion… only another apology. Then TA started emailing other properties to me and followed up with phone calls as to suitability. It was ridiculous! The first two properties were priced at $6000 and $4000 for the five days. Other listings were equally bad. Many were at a distance and others were not the accommodations we needed.

One thing for sure, the roads and highways are really great as we drove by ourselves with a valid driving license. Except for one thing, the Roo” that jumped in front of our car along the way.
In 2015 (September) a significant outbreak commenced. The outbreak is thought to be related to a contaminated water source. Cholera is transmitted by contaminated food and water. Outbreaks tend to occur in areas with poor sanitation. An oral cholera vaccine is available for those at risk. See travel health reports and our Fact Sheet on cholera and the vaccine (Dukoral).

This would assist members of the public in selecting the effective products that contain the correct active ingredient and the correct concentration.
